01About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of quickkeeperkw.com and to the services provided by Quickkeeper ("we", "us"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If we sign a proposal, engagement letter or service agreement with you, that document forms part of our agreement and prevails over these Terms where they differ.
02Our services
We provide bookkeeping and related financial services, which may include recording transactions, bank reconciliation, financial reports, receivables and payables tracking, QuickBooks Online setup and cleanup, and financial consulting. The exact scope, deliverables, timelines and fees for your business are set out in your proposal or engagement letter. Work outside that scope may be charged separately after we agree it with you.
03What our services are not
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, our services do not constitute an audit, review or any other assurance engagement, and we do not provide legal advice. Our reports are prepared from the information you provide and are intended for your internal management use.
04Your responsibilities
To allow us to do our work well, you agree to:
- send us complete, accurate and timely information and documents, and tell us promptly about anything that affects your books;
- keep your original documents and records, as required by law;
- review the reports we provide and raise any questions promptly;
- give us the access we need to your accounting systems; and
- remain responsible for your business decisions, your financial statements, and your legal, tax and regulatory filings and obligations.
05Accuracy and reliance
We take care to record your information accurately, and every entry is reviewed by our team. However, our work depends on the information you provide. We are not responsible for errors or losses caused by information that is incomplete, inaccurate, late or misleading, or by fraud or concealment by any person other than us.
06Third-party software
Our services rely on third-party platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace and WhatsApp. Your use of these platforms is subject to their own terms. Subscription fees for these platforms are not included in our fees unless your proposal says so. We are not responsible for outages, changes or data loss caused by these third parties, but we will work with you to minimise any disruption.
07Fees and payment
Fees are set out in your proposal and are payable in Kuwaiti Dinars (KWD). Unless agreed otherwise, monthly fees are invoiced in advance and are due by the date shown on the invoice. If an invoice remains unpaid after a written reminder, we may pause our services until it is settled. We may review our fees from time to time and will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change.
08Confidentiality
We treat all information about your business as confidential and use it only to provide our services, except where you authorise disclosure or where we are required to disclose it by law. Our team members and service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
09Ownership
Your records and data remain yours. Once our fees are paid, the reports we prepare for you are yours to use for your business. The content, design and branding of this website, and our own methods, templates and tools, belong to Quickkeeper and may not be copied without our permission.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Kuwait, our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid us for the services concerned in the three (3) months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, business or opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.
11Term and termination
Unless your engagement letter says otherwise, either party may end the services by giving 30 days' written notice (email or WhatsApp is sufficient). We may end the services immediately if you materially breach these Terms or ask us to act unlawfully or unethically. When services end, you pay for work done up to the end date, and we will hand over your records and remove our access to your systems in an orderly way.
12Use of this website
The content on this website is general information and is not professional advice for your specific situation. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
13Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date. Changes do not affect services already performed under an earlier version.
14Governing law and language
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, and the courts of Kuwait have jurisdiction over any dispute. We will always try to resolve concerns with you directly and in good faith first. These Terms are published in Arabic and English; if there is any difference between the two, the Arabic version prevails.
